Star Packaging is proud to be a family owned business and we are customer focused. We also install and maintain the best state-of-the-art equipment for flexible packaging, converting and further finishing of products for customer needs and applications.

Printing

Star has been proud to have the new W & H 8/color gearless sleeve press installed for over a year now. This quick change press has given us the opportunity to exceed our customers expectations in print quality. With a 28.5" repeat and 50" width, we can produce virtually any job our customers require with accuracy in color and register.

Laminating

Some jobs require the application of an additional laminate to provide a barrier to moisture, oxygen or odor. Our laminates include various structures such as nylon, polyester and polyethylene among others.

The end result is packaging with an outstanding appearance that extends shelf life and maintains product stability.

Extrusion

Our extrusion division, Tara Plastics, has been investing heavily in new technology. Our new 3 and 5 layer Co-Ex lines have given us the opportunity to develop new blends and substrates to meet many specialty needs of our customers. These include specific barrier properties, slip requirements and special sealents. We are constantly developing new substrates for the demanding applications of today's industry.

Pouch Making/Specialty Converting

Star Packaging has, in just 2 years become a leader in the application of Inno-Lok transverse mounted re-closeable zipper for rollstock. We have added our third unit this year to meet our customers' needs and demands. We have also purchased a new Totani pouch making machine to expand to our pre-made pouch capacity. Please allow us to help you with any re-closeable applications you have.
